bOS Server - which windows version is supported?

Good morning,

I'm moving a bOS Server from a virtual Windows 10 machine to a physical machine.
However, I can't find the version of Windows that supports the server on the website: is it possible to use an IoT version or do I need a HOME, PRO, or Enterprise version?
Does the operating system need to be 32-bit or 64-bit?

Finally, I was wondering if it's possible to install the server on a Linux system: assuming Jigsaw runs on a Linux base (Debian?), moving it to a universal base shouldn't be difficult but would make the choice more versatile for the end customer as well as more secure.

Regards

I would use IoT 11 or win server 2025 - 64bit, as win 10 is EOL. Linux is only supported on jigsaw. You can also use any windows version as long you know how to manage them.

In past posts, it was mentioned that Windows IoT wasn't supported, so I understand that Windows 11 IoT now works properly, right?

Thanks!

It's a shame you can't use a Linux machine given the minimal resource requirements.

It's just because win IoT 10 is EOL too. It still should work on it just fine it's just not supported anymore. But win 11 is still in its baby shoes imho with features/problems nobody asked for.

Thank you so much!

Since Windows 10 IoT is now phased out, I'm getting Windows 11 IoT and will keep up with the updates!
