Ring Keypad Gen2 (Z-Wave, S2 Access) not working on Jigsaw - S2 / Entry Control support?

Avatar

Hi,

I'm trying to use a Ring Keypad Gen2 (Z-Wave Plus, FLIRS, S2) with my Jigsaw (bOS 4.11.72, Z-Wave stick Everspring SA413-1) and I receive no data from it in bOS.

What I have checked:

1. The same SA413-1 stick connected to a PC with Silicon Labs Z-Wave PC Controller 5 works fine with the keypad:

- The inclusion asks for the DSK (S2).

- Security level of the node: S2 Access Control.

- Pressing keys sends Entry Control frames to the controller.

- Association group 1 (Lifeline) points to the controller.

2. When I include it from bOS on the Jigsaw:

- bOS does NOT ask for the DSK.

- The node appears as "Entry Control 15" (Generic Class 64, Specific Class 11, Basic Class 4), Listening = False, FLIRS = True, Status = Ready.

- Manufacturer shows 0 0 0 and Version is empty.

- Associations = 0.

- The only child variable is "Basic". No Entry Control or Notification variables.

- Pressing keys on the keypad changes nothing in bOS.

My questions:

- Does bOS 4.11.72 support Z-Wave S2 inclusion (with DSK)? If so, how do I enable it?

- Does bOS support the Entry Control and Notification (Access Control) command classes, so keypad key presses and codes can be read?

- Is there a newer bOS version or Z-Wave module update that adds this? Is the Ring Keypad Gen2 on the list of supported devices?

- If it is not supported, is there a recommended way to bring keypad events into bOS (for example via MQTT, HTTP or RPC)?

I attach a screenshot of the node in bOS Configurator.

Thank you!
