Hello, what I need to do is to create for a Hotel 3 buttons for each room. One for Do not disturb , one for Make Up my Room and one for Room Service. I have allready created the tasks. and connected in each room. These messages will appers in Reception's central P.C. which will running bOS client. When reception see the message for each room will have the possibility to send fixed answers to each room and a confirmation that received the customer's message . I forgot to say that each room will have an Android Tablet to send the commands to the system. Is it possible to make something like this? Also inside the room we have install 3 push buttons that customer can press and select one of the 3 choices above.

Thank you in advance

Hello,

for the tablet and visualisation for these options, you can create 3 Boolean variables (do not disturb , make up my room and Room Service) add them into the visualisation and the client can then use the tablet to send these values to the reception. To link these variables to the same addresses as the push buttons in the room so the values and statuses of these new variables will be the same as the push buttons (select variable and under Values tab select correct button address)

Best regards.

Hello and thank you for your answer. I have created these 3 options. But I am getting an error and I don't know how to select the object control cause the only object is from tasks room 401

And users must see only specific room not other rooms or areas

Hi,

Will try to help you with the users first:

You should create a general theme for the reception, where it shows off all the rooms, and then create a single Theme for each user (with guest privileges), where you only place the room controls. You'll end up with a theme for each room.

Then, on each user, point the theme to the correct theme. This way no other user should see the other ones.

Example:
User 101 > Themes\Room 101
User 102 > Themes\Room 102
User 103 > Themes\Room 103

Create unique passwords for each room, and set the user priveliges to guest so that no one can change the passwords.

Btw, you'll need to buy extra users to do this...

The license is for 41 users and we have only 37 rooms plus reception , owner and me as administrator

Under Mykonian Mare there is all areas and rooms. Except this I have to create seperate theme per room? Is it possible to copy/paste them?

You are creating panels, and that won't work...

Under Themes, you have Mykonian Mare which is a "main" theme. You can use it for the reception for example.

Now, under Themes, create a new main theme and call it Room 101;

Then under Themes again create another main theme called Room 102, and so one...

You'll end up with 38 main themes (one for reception, and 37 room themes).

You can then go back to user settings "Room 101" and on Visualization theme you choose the "Room 101". It will show as Themes\Room 101. Do the same for the other users, by changing the theme for each one. Create unique passwords for each one, so that no other user can try to login with other account.

And on the admin users, you can set the Mykonian Mare theme.

In the main theme Mykonian Mare, you can use rooms and panels as you wish.

And on the users themes, you can place only the controls of the room and other controls you may wish to give them access.

You need to create a theme for each room, to be able to block the access to other themes from the users. If the rooms are similar, you can create a theme for a room, and then duplicate that room, and change what you need. You don't need to do the 37 room themes from scratch.

Yes, it is possible to copy paste whatever you need...
