About version 4.5.8

Hi,

I've recently updated server to version 4.5.8, but it's still impossible to work with it. Mostly remotely.

On local network I'm still experiencing error calling function problems, specially editing scenes, moving up and down elements. It still keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting sometimes. Very often...

But remotely it's impossible to do anything. Clicking on any tree view item makes configurator reconnect. Always. bOS client for PC isn't working right neither. Sometimes reconnects, sometimes camera freezes after a few seconds and finally reconnects again...

All those things makes impossible to update our customer's servers (I'm working with one of my own with free license).

Anyone else experiencing same problems after the update?

I tried a fresh installation from scratch and, even though it disconnects fewer times, it keeps doing it... It's still very unstable, at least for me.

Dear,

I have install 4.5.8, i can't have https access and Alexa can't find device. I use BOS install on windows 10.

Hi,

I did not have the https access error.

Regarding to Alexa, you need to rename all the devices again. For some of them you will also need to asign the variables again.

Hi again,

I've receltly updated the server to the latest version (4.5.12). Even though it became a little more stable, it still is.

I've noticed several issues:

  • Sonos doesn't show the album cover now, the title is usually wrong and the track duration and current position are also wrong. I tried deleting the Sonos node and adding it again with no success.
  • Importing nodes (images in my case) doesn't work properly. It always end with some error and, although the images appear in the "Images" node, the visualization doesn't show them. After rebooting the server, the images dissapear (only "Blocked.svg" remains in the node). I had to restore the complete configuration to get the images back.

Hello,

I'm  experiencing error calling function in version 4.5.12 when I'm trying to add image. Also I can't set knx connection via knxbus, only via knx ip!

Hi,

Sonos status and importing images issues are solved.

Heres is another problem I noticed with Sonos. When I select a favourite with many files (i.e. the entire library), a "error connecting to device" shows and the favourite doesn't start playing.
