For the PIN part of the Confirmation Dialog is there a way to have it as a variable? So if you want to change the PIN you change in one place instead of going through all the dialog boxes and update it.

we haven't got this request until now, so it wasn't planned. But I can put it in a pipeline and i'll see what I can do regarding the integration of this feature in our future updates.

there was a problem with the PIN where some functions were still accessible...
The PIN however cannot be changed with a variable as you might want it. The only way to set/change the password for the locked function/panel is to set it in the Theme in the configurator.

Thank you for your response and clarification. Is there any plan to integrate the PIN from the Configuration Dialog to be called out through a variable? If you have the operation of the multiple buttons in the project PIN protected, currently you have to change manually if you want to modify the PIN code. It would be nice to have it as a tag and client be able to modify from GUI.

Maybe I misunderstood the "PIN" fix from current release. What I was referring to is the PIN from the Configuration Dialog if it can be called out through a variable. So it can be used in different places throughout the project. If required to change the value then you would update only in one place instead of going thru all the screens.

the fix addressed some issues where users could just close the PIN window and still access/control the nodes/devices.

currently PIN's have to be pre-defined only. But this has been requested, or something similar to this: to have variable options available for multiple functions, which will be implemented in the next version of bOS.

That would be really really really amazing to have it integrated. It would be much easier to handle the PIN("password") change by client.
