Temperature not correctly imported

Hello,

I have several Fibaro "eyes" : occupancy detectors that also provide temperatures.

Sometimes, some of them return a silly temperature number like 155° for some time, can be several hours.

Then, all of a sudden, they come back to a "normal" temperature like 20°C.

That's a big problem as I'm using them to control heating.

Any ideas why this is doing this ?

Thanks,

François

Change them out for a proper temp sensors(wired would be best, shelly HT if wireless is needed) and you're good to go. Had the same problem with them and I have binned them all. Its a sensors problem - not a bOS server problem. I have seen the same problem on fibaro HC2 too.

Sometimes it worked fine for months and on some days it had many errors, even higher false values than 155c. I changed it out with Shelly's HT and it has been stable since 26.07.2023 so almost two years.

Here's my last temp log from fibaro's eye:

Thank you for your suggestions.

How have you interfaced the Shelly's HT to bOS ?

Fibaro eye temp sensor are erratic ; but I believe the window detectors temp sensor is more reliable. So I might try with those.

MQTT Shelly HT (Template).bos
I use MQTT and made this template for it. You need to change out the shelly topic ID for your devices id.
