Hi There, I'm trying to connect a Fibaro multi sensor, I am able to see it ZWAVE tree after including but cannot get any readings or status from it? and I am unable to a associate in the configuration menu.
Any ideas.

Hi,
to enable status reports from sensors the controller must be added in multi sensor's association group 1.
This is a database of Zwave devices. Here you can find information about most of the available Zwave devices. Try tweaking parameters 60, 62, 64, 66. You can do that in the Configuration under Parameters tab.
Hello,
unfortunately I'm having issues staying connected to the ZWAVE dongle now, this isn't going well for me.
When you say the multi sensors association group 1, in your manual it mentions group 3? I'm new to Zwave so excuse the stupid questions.
I do understand the parameters you mention but as I say currently I cannot get the dongle working, this has got worse since I added a Fibaro Smoke alarm?

Configuring Zwave can be a bit confusing at first. Yes, in the manual it says group 3 because the Fibaro devices we've tested had this group reserved for the controller. It depends on the manufacturer or the device.
So to be sure check the device manual or check the link I posted in the previous post and scroll to the end of the page. The group reserved for the controller is referred to as the 'lifeline' group.

HI Jure,
With my new S5 dongle things are a lot better, but i have now come up against anothe problem when trying to adjust parameters on the FGMS all works until I try and get a parameter, The following error is thrown up:
Error
at BOSCommon.Data.NodeHost.CallFunction(String functionName, Object arguments).
Any ideas?
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andrew,
have you tried removing and re-adding the module? Does Zwave disconnect after this error? Can you get/set parameters on other modules?

Jure
I was unable to recreate the issue with the old dongle and FGMS sensor. After inclusion of a new node I had to restart the configuration(stop/start server). I suspect there may be an issue with the new dongles. We're expecting the S5 dongle next week so I'll test it as soon as we get it.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
I'm not sure what do you mean by thermostat actuators because FGMS works only as a sensor?
Ok I finally made some progress, not totally sure what I did differently but Ii woke up the Fibaro device (pressing the B button 3 times) and I was then able to associate the device with the controller.
so the presence side of the device is now working fine but the temperature reading has remained the same over night?
